SAGRES II
One of a number of such sail training ships this handsome vessel was built in 1937 by Blom and Voss at Hamburg for the German Navy. Eventually, she was acquired by the Portuguese also for sail training and renamed Sagres II. She has taken part in the Tall Ships' Races, always easily recognisable from the red Portuguese crosses on her square sails.
